Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are a fastener manufacturer looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on facility and production equipment, managing outsourcing contacts, and implementing cost-saving maintenance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance of facility and production equipment.

• Prioritize requests and meet specified response times for work performed.

• Manage and coordinate all outsourcing contacts.

• Direct responsibility for purchasing maintenance-related equipment and supplies.

• Maintain vendor contacts for machine and building maintenance.

• Coordinate with outsourcing companies for any building maintenance issues.

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost-saving maintenance initiatives.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

• Maintenance management

• AC/DC electrical system knowledge (2-3 years of experience)

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Preventative maintenance scheduling

• Leadership skills

• Experience with mill and lathe machines

• Knowledge of transformers and VFDs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Maintenance Supervisor role

• 5+ years of preventative maintenance experience

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing facility with a focus on fasteners. The role involves regular interaction with production equipment and machinery, requiring adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Macomb, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
