Machine Operator

salary: $19 - $21.5 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 7 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

Review job orders to understand the requirements, and prepare the press, ink, rollers, and plastic. Pull proofs to inspect alignment, ink coverage, and density. Collect samples during the print run to check for quality and make adjustments. Clean the press, ink fountains, and plates. Perform minor repairs, and maintain the press's inventory of supplies. Keep track of production and time, and submit daily reports.

The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 12 hours at one time working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week working weekends

Skills Press Operation Cutting Blueprint Reading Basic Computer Skills Math and Calculation Carrying Order Processing Time Management Standing measurements (2 years of experience is preferred) Material Handling
