Position Description:
Manages personnel and budgetary matters for a department or college. Exercises discretion and independent judgment to oversee the activities of staff and the financial processes to ensure fiscal responsibility of department/college. Ensures staff and faculty have the resources to complete their work. Usually serves as a hiring manager and employee service coordinator.

Major/Essential Functions:
Provide administrative financial oversight for Chess Program and eSports Team including monthly account reconciliation, Pcard reconciliation, travel card reconciliation, and other day-to-day financial reporting. Process purchase orders, direct payments, budget revisions, EOPS, and ePAFs.
Responsible for oversight and awarding of scholarship funds. Responsible for payments for K-12 camps and tournaments.
Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations. Prepare travel reports for staff and students. Travel with teams as needed and provide supervision and support.
Provide monthly and annual reports detailing performance, statistics of the program financials, and program events and accomplishments. Develop and monitor an annual budget for events and summer camps.
Assist Director with events planning and coordination. Oversee the team training space.
Supervise and coordinate scholarship students, team members, and students assistants as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with University business practices including knowledge of TTU procurement, finance, HR, and other systems. Demonstrated experience in supportive accounting, business, or other financial roles, General knowledge of chess.
