Under general direction, the IAS Director provides management and oversight of team(s) performing similar services/activities. May have subordinate managers and/or supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Transforms Arvest strategies into plans and goals for their unit for the next 12 months. Mobilizes their team(s), establishing the tactical plans, projects and objectives needed to accomplish these goals and ensuring their attainment.
  2. Accountable for decision making regarding their organization, establishing the structure of the unit and its internal processes, defining and ensuring quality standards.
  3. Develops the financial and resource plans for the area(s); accountable for managing to established budgets, including reallocating funding as priorities shift.
  4. Proactively mentors and trains subordinates to continually improve services and support to IAS.
  5. Responsible for all performance-related activities, including preparing and delivering performance reviews and any disciplinary recommendations.
  6. Partners with and integrates across other areas of Arvest, working with other areas, resolving conflicts and managing competing priorities, to provide a complete solution.
  7. Attend and actively participate in management meetings, communication meetings and various peer meetings both within the bank group and within the industry.
  8. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

  • Uphold the Arvest Code of Ethics and ensure that confidential information is safeguarded.
  • Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.
  • Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the companys overall operation.
  • Foster and promote the proper company image at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervise 2 or more associates as assigned by the Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws. Ensure direct reports have completed required compliance training and are adhering to all internal procedures and controls as it relates to bank policy, laws, regulations and Arvests BSA/AML Program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. The incumbent has the authority and the appropriate influence to make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other associates within the guidelines of the banks procedures and guidelines for such change of status events. The incumbent provides training, planning, assigning, and directing work assignments and schedules; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
