Are you ready to make an impact in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? We’re seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic Materials Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless material flow and supporting our logistics strategies to keep our operations running smoothly.

As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll take charge of tracking shipments, expediting orders, and providing real-time status updates. From source to plant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the flow of materials and improving logistics processes.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Enter, track, and expedite orders using ERP and MRP systems.

  • Conduct audits of open orders to ensure proper documentation for receiving clerks.

  • Resolve past-due open orders and ensure timely updates.

  • Monitor schedules, facilitate adjustments, and ensure material availability.

  • Support the annual physical inventory process.

  • Collaborate with materials departments to enhance delivery and expediting processes.

  • Report metrics and maintain accurate records of material flow.

  • Communicate with stakeholders to address disruptions, discrepancies, or schedule changes.

  • Facilitate schedule adjustments and readiness of materials based on availability.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in business or a related field OR actively pursuing.

  • Proven communication skills, initiative, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Oracle, Trackx, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Flexibility to adapt hours and duties based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • Experience in inventory control or logistics functions.

  • Knowledge of parts identification, processes, and procedures.

  • Potential to become an ERP Superuser.

  • Attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
