THE WORK:
You’ll manage and coordinate the programing, design, and construction of projects.
You’ll manage and coordinate design reviews and plan approvals, identify potential problems in advance and take corrective action or notify the proper level of authority.
You’ll prepare authorization documentation (Board of Supervisors' letters and delegation of memoranda).
You’ll prepare and maintain project budgets and schedules.
You’ll review the work of other consultants and make recommendations on the approval of invoices.
You’ll administer construction contracts.
You’ll manage cost and schedule performance of projects.
You’ll prepare and issue monthly project construction reports.
You’ll review and make recommendations on contractor submittals and Requests
for Information.
You’ll monitor and help coordinate project construction activities in the field.
You’ll coordinate project close-out activities.
You’ll evaluate and make recommendations on changes in scope of work and prepare change orders.
You’ll conduct and coordinate briefings and presentations for project stakeholders.
You’ll review and validate construction bids and Job Order Contract (JOC) cost proposals.
You’ll interface with other County Departments and outside jurisdictional agencies to obtain project approvals
You’ll prepare project meeting agendas and be responsible to run project meetings.
You’ll coordinate planning and other project management functions as necessary for the delivery of projects.
You’ll monitor, coordinate, and evaluate all key project activities to ensure optimum scope/configuration control, cost/schedule compliance, and quality assurance/control of project design, specification, contracting strategies, and contractor performance leading to claims avoidance/claims mitigation.
You’ll will participate in the training of Public Works' staff on preapproved project delivery techniques when appropriate.
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$200,000 - $260,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field OR
Additional four (4) years of construction-related experience
Minimum of 5 (five) years of verified experience in the program planning and development, systems development, resource management, budget maintenance and control, schedule management and control, design and construction of building and infrastructure projects.
Minimum of 5 (five) years of verified experience with full responsibility as Owner’s representative for coordinating complex infrastructure projects through all phases including design, bidding, construction, and occupancy and having immediate responsibility for the timely completion of these projects with schedule, resource, and budget limitations.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
PE, EIT, PMP, CCM or related certificates
Familiarity with Caltrans Standard Specifications Standard Plans and Caltrans Test Methods (CTM)
Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, when working under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays
Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
