Our client is seeking a dynamic Laboratory Director in Suffolk County, NY.

The ideal candidate will be versatile and capable of leading the lab while being familiar with technical lab operations. Responsibilities include overseeing lab activities, managing the technician team, and assisting with the water system setup.

Type: Direct hire

Rate: $200,000

Duties:

• Lead lab operations and ensure efficient workflow.

• Oversee the setup and organization of the new lab.

• Act as a point of contact for clients, effectively presenting lab capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience advancing from bench work to operations and leadership roles.

• Prior experience as a site director or similar role in a smaller midsized company.

• Background in microbiology or analytical chemistry with the ability to engage potential clients.

• BS degree required, advanced degree strongly preferred.
