Job Title: Divisional Project Director
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, are recruiting a Divisional Project Director to join the team located in London.
Purpose Of The Job
Own and deliver the divisional pipeline of projects to achieve a divisional target, ensuring project compliance and QHSE regulations and standards are maintained consistently across the division and where possible exceed industry standard and projects governance.
Provide leadership and development for the team of project professionals in the division.
Building relationships with clients and supply partners to deliver major projects.
Support the development and implementation of principal project business strategy.
Support divisional Senior Leadership Team in delivering divisional strategy, whilst also contributing to the overall regional projects leadership and wider PJM business.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery of the divisional pipeline to achieve divisional targets
Building relationships with existing and potential clients.
Liaise with colleagues to determine and identify project opportunities. Create case studies to promote business and host key decision makers on show site tours.
Supporting cross selling function across the CBRE business.
Grow the projects business with both internal and external opportunities through innovation.
Accountabilities
• Accountability to the Divisional Managing Director
• Generate project opportunities by supporting building strong effective working relationships with our customers and site teams.
• Full P & L responsibility for division.
• Accountable as line manager for others.
• Compliance with CBRE project management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with CBRE health and safety policy and process whilst ensuring that they are effectively implemented across both CBRE and its subcontractor’s activities. These are to be regularly audited and reviewed.
Person Specification
Education
• Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar (desirable)
• Degree level qualification in Project Management (desirable)
• Leadership management certification (desirable)
Training
• Degree level qualification within project management, construction management or equivalent (desirable)
• RICS or similar chartership (desirable)
• Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy
• APM certified (desirable)
• Prince 2 certified (desirable)
• CDM regulations
• SMSTS certified
• Nebosh certified
• CSCS card holder
• IOSH (desirable)
Experience
• Proven track record safely delivering exceptional projects in either an M&E, FM, construction or critical environment and experience of developing new project opportunities.
• Proven experience of running a P&L.
• Demonstrable evidence of business leadership
