The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take the position as an electrical discipline/lead engineer in development projects.

  • Establish power generation, power distribution, and transmission systems.

  • Follow up and guide contractors and suppliers.

  • Prepare technical requirements and tender documentation.

  • Follow up on engineering, fabrication, testing, and installation.

  • Establish electrical interface to control systems.

  • Work with power management systems and electrical system analysis.

  • Contribute to internal and external improvement activities and development of the electrical competence within Equinor.

You will be responsible for the electrical design in various projects. This will involve participation in inhouse feasibility studies and further project maturation in close cooperation with our contractors and suppliers for all project phases within Oil & Gas, Hydrogen (H2) and Low Carbon.

  • Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within Electrical Power Engineering.

  • Extensive relevant experience within electrical power engineering and project work.

  • Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards, and technical requirements within the electrical discipline.

  • High ethical standards and adherence to ethical requirements.

  • Results-oriented, self-driven and quality-conscious.

  • Good written and oral presentation skills in English.

  • Flexible regarding mobility for domestic and international assignment, and work tasks.
