Job Description

If you are you passionate about insights & using them to drive eCommerce decision,we are looking for a Digital Insights Manager to join the team who can align their knowledge of analytics with commercial insights!

This is a rare & exciting opportunity to work side-by-side with our LEGO Retail global commercial teams. You will create data driven insights which will feed into both eCommerce strategy & tactical commercial action whilst identifying with the team how we can harvest the power of our data in new ways. You will be working closely with stakeholders within the LEGO.com team but also outside such as Category Management, Promotions, Forecasting, Data Science, Digital Products etc.

Key Focus Areas

  • Review ongoing performance on LEGO.com based on a combination of metrics & methods to “tell the story” of the main drivers behind results

  • Focus on our Shoppers & the assortment they engage with, delivering insights which will support our shopper insights strategy & enable LEGO Retail to deliver its full commercial ambition.

  • Utilise your own Analytics skills, along with collaborating with other members of the team & wider data analysis network to deliver the strategy at pace.

  • Share concrete recommendations to trigger action and work collaboratively across the business to put actions in place

  • Support significant marketing events, reporting on real time performance & proactively identifying areas for optimisation (e.g. Black Friday, Cyber Monday)

  • Identify gaps in the way we currently understand & report on our shoppers across the end to end of their purchase journey & recommend changes in our ways of working to continuously improve business understanding

  • Work collaboratively with peers to identify opportunities to innovative the way we understand the impact of our commercial performance & make positive changes for our shoppers

  • Ensure that the data we utilise is accurately reported & partner with Business Intelligence and enabling teams & other data owners to ensure ongoing governance is in place for LEGO.com

Must Have

  • Strong analytical and technical skills: SQL skills essential, with Python/R competency a bonus

  • Data visualisation proficiency: Tableau and Power BI preferred

  • Digital analytics experience such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

  • A confident storyteller with data analysis experience, ideally an eCommerce Insights team

  • A completer finisher with a track record for following an idea through to implementation

  • Experience turning data into insights and driving decisions. Bias to action, but from a starting point of recognizing the complex environment we operate in.

  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build new relationships and drive through challenging decisions

  • Understanding of data structure and the ability to drive meaning from large, unconnected data.

Nice to Have

  • Experience helping to drive the practical application of relevant models such as MTA, & CLTV

  • Experience with segmentation, e.g. behavioural profiling
