Position: Programme Support Officer 

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days at the office)

The job

In order to fully support best practice and successful delivery of the Campaign to Cash (C2C) programme, AVEVA is looking to strengthen its PMO by recruiting a Programme Support Officer dedicated to the programme. The PMO function is a central hub of the programme team who works closely with the core programme management team to align governance and tools throughout the project lifecycle. 

The Programme Support Officer will support the programme leadership team to deliver the programme’s objectives by providing high quality programme support to the programme and its management team. The Programme Support Officer will be actively involved in all stages of the delivery as such the work will be varied and will be key to enabling the success of the programme.

The role will provide administrative support to the programme including meeting scheduling and support, document management, system access administration, and ad hoc support tasks as required. 

The role works collaboratively across programme stakeholders to successfully deliver the required programme outcomes for Indirect Channel.  

_Responsibilities _

  • Programme Governance support – meeting scheduling, recording accurate minutes, actions and decisions with timely distribution and pro-active follow up to ensure completion.

  • Programme Document Management - maintain the programme document library, ensuring required artefacts are recorded with effective version control and required approvals.

  • Management of programme PMO shared mailbox and calendar.

  • System access administration (starters, movers & leavers) - SharePoint sites, Distribution Lists, Teams sites and Workfront as required.

  • Scheduling and support of programme workshops and meetings as required.

  • Ad hoc programme support based on the needs of the programme leadership team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role.

  • To be willing to get involved in various tasks outside of the area of responsibility.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and high level of initiative.

  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced working environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet strict deadlines.

  • An understanding of the tools and templates used to manage projects and programmes

Ideal experience

  • Risk and Issue Management

  • Resource Management

  • Status report management and MI preparation

  • Working with data, data management, data visualisation tools

  • Oracle Project Space, Adobe Workfront or other PMIS tools

  • P3O or similar qualification

  • Azure DevOps, PowerBI

  • Project / Programme Management qualifications/ certifications e.g. PRINCE 2

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral   

  • Initiative. ‘Make it happen’ attitude  

  • Outcome/Delivery focused  

  • Ability to handle multiple, complex programs
