PLC Technician

Currently hiring a PLC Technician in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 1st shift (Monday - Friday)

• Rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and requires flexibility with start/end time.

• Must be willing to work overtime.

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including blow molding machines.

• Perform preventative maintenance work as necessary.

• Troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, including hooking up a laptop and monitoring the PLCs.

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs that control various automated processes.

• Handle electrical troubleshooting and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.

• Work with industrial circuits and controls, handling up to 460 volts.

• Experience with electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, PLC programming, and PLC troubleshooting.

• Proficiency with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.

• Ability to work with up to 460 volts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with industrial machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
