Job Title: Assembly/General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembly/General Laborer for our powder coating facility. This is a 1st shift position that involves a variety of tasks, primarily focused on loading and unloading parts onto a line that bends tubing. The role requires consistency, productivity, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks. This long-term project offers a stable and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts, including lifting items up to 70 pounds (rarely).

• Operate a tube bender or a robot to make parts, ensuring machines run consistently.

• Lift parts weighing approximately 35 pounds every 2.5 minutes.

• Load parts onto a tow line for powder coating and remove coated parts.

• Unstack and place items carefully to avoid damage.

• Pack parts and ensure finishes are not chipped or damaged.

• Perform basic assembly of light posts after powder coating.

Essential Skills

• Production experience.

• Basic mechanical ability.

• Experience with repetitive lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller, tight-knit shop primarily producing agricultural-related metal products such as gates, fences, and animal holding pens. The facility is very busy and well-maintained, with a focus on cleanliness and organization.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
