As consumer preference for digital payments continues to grow, ensuring a seamless and secure consumer experience is top of mind. The Digital Transformation (DT) team is responsible for optimizing and monetizing the value of Mastercard’s Core Solutions through a data-driven approach & product and network thinking.

The Optimization Solutions team, part of the DT organization, focuses on improving digital authorization performance globally through optimizing and scaling existing products & building new Mastercard solutions.

The Manager, Token and Authentication Performance Management will focus on the ongoing performance of authorization rates and commercialization of Mastercard’s Network Tokenization and Authentication Solutions. This will be a global facing role and will be responsible for understanding the factors influencing performance and the broader industry landscape. This includes delivering data-driven insights and recommendations, engaging directly with key external stakeholders on implementing optimization solutions (new and existing), and partnering across the organization to drive alignment and ensure action is taken. The Manager will support the roll out of product enhancements and solutions to address gaps and increase authorization performance. An ideal candidate should be passionate about learning and developing new products and solutions, have strong understanding of the drivers of digital commerce, leverage data insights to recommend actions, have strong storytelling skills and be able to liaise with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data-driven analysis data analysis to develop actionable recommendations based on in-depth understanding of Mastercard’s Digital Enablement Service platform for merchants and Authentication products

• Present data to Mastercard’s customers (merchants, issuers, payment service providers) in a digestible format by highlighting big impact opportunities and collaborating with them on the implementation of the recommendations that will help improve token performance

• Develop quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports, and models to support key business and strategic decisions that will help drive our customers to achieve better KPIs

• Partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across the organization to solicit ideas, influence strategy and generate buy-in to proposed actions, while maintaining an objective position

• Monitor top digital merchant and issuer approval rate performance in detail and provide regular analysis, create best practices, and serve as an adviser to regional teams in their token optimization and commercialization efforts

• Identify, track and report regularly on key operational performance metrics related to digital commerce transactions globally

• Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the product roadmap, prioritizing work to deliver against key areas of focus

All about you:

• Minimum 5 years of business experience

• Foundational background in product management, product development or consulting

• Strong analytical skills with track record of translating data into compelling insights, market assessments and business cases

• Strong knowledge of digital commerce strategies and trends related to authorization, tokenization, authentication, and transaction routing

• Experience in quantitative analysis and ability to draw logical conclusions based on data

• Passion for all things digital and intrinsic curiosity to understand new technology

• Extensive project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to efficiently manage multiple projects with external and internal clients

• Ability to work well with others and collaborate across the entire organization

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Entrepreneurial spirit and global mindset with a passion for learning and using data to solve large scale business problems
