The Senior Business Growth Manager plays a crucial leadership role within the sales and marketing teams. This role focuses on key customers, markets, and product initiatives. This management role leverages deep industry expertise in the water sector helping to drive Itron's Water line of business growth by managing strategic objectives and fostering partnerships with key stakeholders. Job Duties & Responsibilities Drive innovative, complex, and strategic operational objectives to ensure the achievement of department goals, performance of KPIs, and successful execution of action plans. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement winning sales and marketing strategies targeting water utility customers. Analyze and communicate market conditions and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders to shape strategic decision-making. Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry consultants involved in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for water, effectively showcasing the Itron value proposition. Establish and sustain strong relationships with key installation contractors pivotal in executing large AMI projects. Review customer RFPs to develop comprehensive, winning strategies, including identifying qualified partners, selecting appropriate technologies, and analyzing market intelligence on competitors. Anticipate and resolve complex issues, ensuring customer success measurements are consistently met. Collaborate across Itron departments and external partners to explore and pursue new project opportunities. Serve as an advisor on business development and oversee service and support functions as needed. Possess and effectively communicate expertise in operating environments and Itron's product offerings to various stakeholders. Contribute to Itron's sales, revenue, profitability, and go-to-market objectives using specialized knowledge and skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in related field such as business, marketing, environmental science, or engineering is preferred. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the water industry, particularly in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), or utility services, are highly valued. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with water-related technologies, regulatory requirements, and market trends is essential. Sales and Marketing Expertise: Proven skills in strategic planning, business development, and relationship management with clients, consultants, and contractors. Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey technical and market information effectively to diverse stakeholders. Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to address complex challenges and develop innovative solutions for customer success.
