Trainer Support Analyst (PMA-231)

KBR is seeking an experienced Trainer Support Analyst to join our team. This position supports E-2 Hawkeye Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231) E-2C/D Training Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) for in-service support and sustainment. Tasking and work are based out of Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project training objectives.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • This position resides within KBR’s Advanced Programs team and is direct support to the government’s E-2C/D Training Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting sustainment of aircrew and maintainer training devices.

  • Applies knowledge of E-2D air vehicle and mission system systems to perform acquisition skills necessary to sustain aircrew and maintenance training devices.

  • Coordinate and tracks aircraft program Engineering Change Proposal (ECPs) though cognizant training system program management and engineering staff to determine impact to affected training devices.

  • Coordinates with the Training Systems IPT logistics staff and In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) to identify, plan and implement initiatives to improve fielded system readiness and future system obsolescence issues.

  • Track and coordinates aircraft program technical manuals, publications, training material and other engineering design artifacts to support the training system sustainment and ongoing development activities contracted with the Training Systems OEM.

  • Coordinate and tracks Government Furnished Equipment/Government Furnished Information (GFE/GFI).

  • Assists in the development and updates to the Naval Training Systems Plan (NTSP) and other training system acquisition documentation.

  • Prepares presentation material, delivery trackers, and status report for assigned tasks.

  • Plans maintainer training requirements when new capabilities are in fielded.

  • Tracks the delivery and perform quality review of training materials delivered to the training system and aircraft program IPTs.

  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and training programs.

  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.

  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

The Trainer Support Analyst will assist the government IPT lead and government lead team with tracking the following:

  • Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)

  • Government Furnished Equipment/Government Furnished Information (GFE/GFI)

  • Stricken Aircraft Reclamation and Disposal Program (SARDIP)

  • Navy Training System Plan (NTSP)

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • BA/BS

    Required Experience:

  • 5-10yrs of related experience.

  • Familiarity with MS Office Products.

  • Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with military training systems highly recommended

  • Specific Experience with the E-2D platform, E2 In a Box (E2IAB) or Navy trainers desired.
