Description

The senior program analyst will provide technical support to the Program Manager, Functional Leads and IPT Leads for a major Department of Defense Weapons Accelerated Acquisition Program. Additionally:

• Work closely with systems engineers and Program Managers to assist in capturing plans of action and milestones for working off technical issues and working with Master Planners to facilitate their incorporation into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.

• Assist the Program Risk Manager in identifying, capturing and tracking Program risks and their associated mitigation plans in accordance with, DoD Instruction 5000.02 series, SECNAVINST 5000.2 series, NAVAIRINST 5000.21 series, and the Program Risk Management Plan.

• Use databases and MS Office products to manage, maintain and distribute technical and programmatic data, as directed by Program Manager, IPT and Functional Leads, and Configuration/Data Managers.

• Analyze information and make recommendations with supporting rationale.

• Utilize government-furnished data to develop products such as briefings and presentations, project reports, illustrations, etc.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years’ experience performing Program Analyst functions in support of Systems Engineering efforts for Naval Aviation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management; four additional years’ experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

• Two years of recent and relevant experience with Aviation Program Planning in one of the following areas: Complex Budget Processes, System Acquisition, or Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, work requests, requisitions, CDRLs and ERP.

• Experience with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

• Highly-motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment in order to meet ad-hoc and contractual requirements.

• Ability to travel on an ‘as needed’ basis.

• Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs

• Experience with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

• Experience with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process.

• Experience with DoD Risk and Opportunity management process.

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possessactive Top Secretclearance

• Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship
