Effectively delivers direct patient care under the supervision of the provider. Demonstrate the ability to access and assist patients in emergency situations. Make referrals for diagnostic tests and other care outside of the clinic. Effectively teach and document patient education. Document accurate patient vital records on patients. Give medication in both oral and injectable form. Instructing patients about medications or treatment. Responsible for collecting specimens or performing phlebotomy duties to obtain blood for lab test. Schedule specialist appointments or hospital admissions. Order and maintain adequate medical supplies and medication for the clinical area. Adequately triage patients by telephone. Possess the knowledge to operate clinical and office equipment. Demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude toward patients and staff. Take medical histories and enter data into an electronic health records system. Adheres to MCHC infection control policies. Perform other necessary duties as required by Mallory CHC to meet the goals of providing quality health care services.
