Description We are in search of a Sr Inventory Specialist to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. This role will be crucial in implementing SOS Inventory software, standardizing parts and inventory management, and establishing an efficient material flow in our manufacturing industry. The Sr Inventory Specialist will play a key role in barcode integration, kanban system setup, and ensuring inventory accuracy from stock to production.

Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in the implementation and management of a new Inventory software, ensuring seamless integration with QuickBooks.

• Take charge of developing a barcode-based tracking system and standardizing part numbers, bin locations, and stock management.

• Establish and maintain kanban carts and a visual management system to enhance material flow efficiency.

• Execute regular cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy of stock.

• Oversee accurate recording of inventory transactions including receiving, stocking, issuing to production.

• Provide training and support to production staff on barcode scanning, tracking processes, and kanban use.

• Collaborate closely with purchasing and production teams to optimize stock levels and reorder points.

• Identify and seize opportunities to boost inventory efficiency and minimize waste. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in clerical duties is necessary.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is required.

• Knowledge and experience with barcodes is a must.

• Background in inventory accounting is essential.

• Experience in equipment inventory is required.

• Proficiency in inventory tracking is necessary.
