Summary

The Sr Staffing Specialist administers and coordinates moderately complex human resources activities in one or more core functional Human Resources (HR) areas including benefits, compensation, labor relations, or staffing. This person applies established principles, theories, and concepts to resolve policy issues or to assist in the development of innovative solutions and activities in core functional areas.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides strategic and tactical staffing support for multiple divisions or programs (e.g. New Employee Orientation, University Relations).
  • Leads one or more HR programs following established guidelines.
  • Manages multiple tasks and larger-scaled projects or programs to improve results and ensure a positive hiring experience.
  • Develops solutions, uses data, charts and analysis to obtain approval to resolve issues important to business.
  • Leads and participates in assigned recruiting events.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
You Must Have
  • Bachelors degree in business, human resources, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years experience in human resources or a similar field.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
