This is a contract position with the possibility of extending or converting to full-time/permanent for top performers. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hospital billing experience.Essential FunctionsReviews relevant documents, gathers necessary information, and follows applicable federal, state, third-party, and departmental regulations to accurately prepare and submit claims.Collects and communicates information from insurance carriers and patients to help facilitate timely payments on outstanding accounts.Keeps up to date with changes in third-party billing, collections, and bad debt regulations by reviewing bulletins and participating in required annual training sessions.Efficiently uses computer software to complete billing, follow-up, and related tasks.Sets and tracks goals for resolving outstanding issues with third-party payers.Reviews and analyzes patient accounts to ensure payments are accurate and properly recorded.Organizes, prioritizes, and maintains files and documentation in line with established policies and procedures.Reviews and manages assigned Aergo work lists on a daily basis.Performs other duties as assigned and remains flexible to accommodate changing departmental needs.Minimum RequirementsMust have at least one year of Hospital Billing or related experienceMust have a High School DiplomaMust have current flu shot or obtain one before going onsiteMust be able to pass a drug test and criminal background checkApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjg5NzQwLjEwNDEyQG1pbmRzZWVrZXJpbmNjb21wLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ
