Summary:

  • The Director, reporting to the Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, serves as a key member of the management team, and is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, decision-making, financial performance, compliance with regulatory agencies, employee and customer satisfaction and productivity of all Princeton Health Revenue Cycle Management areas: Central Scheduling, Business Office Center, Patient Access Services, Data Analytics and Quality Assurance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the financial and operational stability of the organization through the implementation and oversight of strategic and operational initiatives within the front-end Revenue Cycle departments of Central Scheduling (CSD), Insurance Verification (IV), and Patient Access (PAS) Management. Identifies and implements measurable operational improvements that promotes, meets, or exceeds key performance indicators and enhances the patient experience. Evaluates and directs efforts to improve front-end revenue cycle operations. Informs Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer on status of front-end Revenue Cycle issues. Monitors work queues and workflows within the departments. Provides oversight, develops and implements Quality Assurance Team and standards for the Access Center Departments. Provides oversight to the Data Analytics Team Develops, implements and monitors departmental operational budgets. Evaluates performance of direct reporting personnel.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.

• Related Work Experience o Five to ten years’ progressive management experience in a healthcare environment with a strong background in revenue cycle areas.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

• CHAM, HFMA or NAHAM Certification required – obtain within 1 year of hiring
