Job Description:

The Project Manager at Sage will lead projects to successful completion while providing a positive experience for all involved parties. This Project Manager position is a member of the Sage Intacct Expert Services team and works with multiple Sage customers concurrently implementing Sage Intacct software and/or other software solutions related to Sage Intacct.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will:

• Serve as customer’s primary contact throughout a project.

• Lead and deliver full lifecycle software implementation projects following Sage Intacct’s Project Delivery Methodology.

• Ensure completion of the full scope of contracted services and deliverables as defined in the Statement of Work.

• Achieve on-time/on-budget project completion, high customer satisfaction, and successful system adoption.

• Learn/utilize Sage Intacct’s standardized project delivery tools.

• Build/maintain project plans and drive on-time task completion by both customer and internal personnel.

• Report project status/budgets to customer and relevant internal personnel.

• Maintain internal project details utilizing Sage’s project tracking systems including project status, forecast of remaining budgeted hours to tasks, target completion dates, and assigned personnel.

• Produce quality project documentation and receive timely customer signoffs.

• Track and resolve project issues including scope changes.

• Identify and book change order and/or add-on services opportunities with current clients.

• Achieve revenue and/or billable hour minimums as assigned by employee’s manager and accurately track work time daily using the designated time-tracking tools.

• Ensure project team members submit project work time accurately and timely, and review/approve all submissions by stated deadlines.

• Develop and maintain familiarity with Sage Intacct software modules and functionality as needed to manage projects.

• Build strong, positive relationships with both internal and customer personnel.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of serving as project manager responsible for overall delivery and a minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience managing ERP/financial management software implementations and/or delivering software implementation consulting services

• Adept at leading successful projects and managing personnel (both customer and internal) to perform work tasks on-time while building positive work relationships.

• Attentive to detail and thorough including ensuring project task completion, regular project plan maintenance, and timely communications to customers.

• Skilled at multi-tasking across projects, customers, and internal activities.

• Exposure to a broad range of industries and business scenarios including but not limited to the following: software provider, contract management, services project accounting, revenue management, franchise model, international business, and inventory control.

• Knowledge of financial accounting and accounting principles (CPA a nice-to-have).

• Familiarity with implementing and using Software as a Service (“SaaS”) solutions.

• Understanding of software development and associated processes and an intuitiveness/passion for technology.

• Highly enthusiastic, proactive, positive-minded, customer focused, and service-oriented.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a clear speaking voice and effective use of grammar.

• Ability to work well with others and independently. Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.

• Prior experience implementing and/or using Sage Intacct software a nice-to-have.

• Minimal travel expected (estimate a few trips per year for Sage corporate events).

• BS in Accounting/Finance or Computer Science/Information Technology or the equivalent
