Job Description:
As our Consultant, Expert Services Consultant, you will perform consulting and software implementation services to Sage customers while providing a positive experience for all involved parties. You will be a member of the Sage Intacct Expert Services team and works with multiple Sage customers concurrently implementing Sage Intacct software and/or other software solutions related to Sage Intacct
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
• Deliver services to customers following Sage Intacct’s Project Delivery Methodology and utilizing Sage Intacct’s service delivery tools while adhering to project plans and staying within a project’s scope (as defined in the signed Statement of Work).
• Lead meetings with customers to identify and document requirements and translate to software solutions.
• Design and configure solutions addressing customer requirements in the Sage Intacct core financials and related business functions/modules (examples include Company, General Ledger, Purchasing/Accounts Payable, Order Entry/Accounts Receivable, Time & Expense, sales tax, and inter-entity accounting).
• Manage customer legacy system data migration including performing Sage Intacct data import template reviews, identifying/resolving customer population errors, and loading the data via the Sage Intacct user interface.
• Develop dashboards, financial reports, custom reports, and invoice print templates using the tools in Sage Intacct.
• Achieve revenue and/or billable hour minimums as assigned by the Consultant’s manager and accurately track work time daily using the designated time-tracking tools.
• Complete assignments on-time and provide regular status reports/updates on work assignments to Project Managers and/or customers.
• Keep current on the latest software features and enhancements released quarterly by Product Management.
• Build strong, positive relationships with both internal and customer personnel.
Requirements:
• Minimum two (2) years of progressively responsible experience providing consulting services to customers and implementing ERP/financial management software solutions (Sage Intacct experience nice-to-have) or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of financial accounting and accounting principles (MBA and/or CPA nice-to-have).
• Exposure to a broad range of industries and business scenarios (examples include grant-based non-profit, software provider, contract management, services project accounting, revenue management, franchise model, wealth and asset management, healthcare, and warehouse/inventory management).
• Experience working on multiple customer projects concurrently with ability to plan and deliver disparate work assignments on-time and fulfill commitments.
• Familiarity with implementing SaaS software and an intuitiveness/passion for software and technology.
• Skilled at multi-tasking across projects, customers, and internal activities.
• Strong verbal communication skills resulting in influence and positive relationships, and strong written communication skills including professional style writing and effective use of grammar.
• Ability to work well with others and independently. Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, proactive, responsive, positive-minded, customer focused, service oriented, intellectually curious, creative, flexible, ambitious, and self-confident.
• Minimal travel expected (estimate a few trips per year for Sage corporate events).
• BS in Accounting/Finance or Computer Science/Information Technology or the equivalent.
