The right candidate will be able to deliver | | | | weather on all of WDAM's traditional and digital platforms | | | | | | | | Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: | | | | | | | | - Distribute weather data with hyper-local information to all | | | | TV and digital platforms | | | | - Fill in for other meteorologists as needed | | | | - Regular social media content created and published | | | | - Confident & experienced performance on air | | | | - Able to handle breaking news and weather situations on-air and | | | | behind the scenes in a timely and professional manner | | | | | | | | *Qualifications/Requirements: | | | | | | | | - Meteorology degree | | | | - A certified meteorologist is preferred | | | | - Experience with WSI | | | | - An excellent driving record is a must | | | | - At least two years of experience | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | | | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
