Job DescriptionnnSUMMARY:nnThis is a 6-month, part-time internship (20 hours per week) with opportunities to start in April 2025. As a Marketing Intern at Stride, you will be responsible for assisting with various projects within the Marketing department. Essential functions may include administrative, clerical, and project work as determined by business needs. You will support multiple K12-powered schools' marketing including website support, social media strategy, and graphic design. . Additionally, it would be a plus if candidates have experience with interviewing individuals, writing blog posts with SEO best practices in mind, and publishing content on WordPress websites. Your work will ensure that prospective parents fully understand what K12-powered schools offer, supporting the company's overall enrollment goals.nnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:nnReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform their essential duties.nn * Demonstrates an understanding of the company's main business line: our management of 70+ online schools.nn * Creates and prepares various content, presentations, and materials as assigned.nn * Provides additional marketing and ideation support to the team as needed.nn * Supports creating graphics and videos for Social Media Channels, submitting ideas for marketing toolkits, YouTube Content Creation and Strategy, and Webinar planning.nn * Evaluates social media metrics and helps prepare team reports to monitor performance.nn * Assists in managing social media content in a monthly editorial calendar.nn * Plans and schedules social media content using management platforms and tools.nn * Collaborates with school staff to highlight and showcase student stories.nn * Provides suggestions on best practices for collecting user-generated content.nn * Provides trending ideas and actively contributes to content planning meetings.nn * Assists the team with day-to-day administrative and operational duties as assigned.nn * Assists with developing marketing materials as assigned by the team.nn * Forges strong relationships with internal teams and external organizations.nn * Ensures thorough, timely, and accurate communications.nn * Executes tasks by utilizing various technologies and platforms specific to the business.nnSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.nnCERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: None requirednnREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:nn * Currently working toward an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.nn * Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Snapchat, and Twitter..nn * Excellent presentation skills with the ability to leverage technology effectively.nn * Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.nn * Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.nn * Strong project, time management, and organizational skills with attention to detail.nn * Excellent written and oral communication skills.nn * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently.nn * Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities to deliver and drive results.nn * High level of quality and accountability for work products.nn * Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity, and trust.nn * MS365; web proficiency.nn * Ability to clear a required background check.nnPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:nn * Experience with WordPress and/or blog writing.nn * Knowledge of SEO as it pertains to blogs.nn * Experience with photo editing and graphic design tools, including Canva.nn * Experience with video editing, including Animoto, TikTok video creation skills, and YouTube knowledge.nn * Experience with a Social Media Man
