Role Overview: As an HR Business Partner, you will be pivotal in aligning business goals with employees and management within specific business units. Your skills in payroll processing, benefits administration, and 401(k) management, combined with your experience in forecasting and collaborating with internal departments, will be crucial for operational success. You will also manage employee relations, foster organizational development, and provide strategic HR solutions to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing & Benefits Administration:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Support 401(k) and Roth IRA processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

401(k) and Roth IRA Management:

  • Oversee the company's 401(k) program, including employee enrollment and contributions.
  • Provide guidance on 401(k) and Roth IRA options.
  • Ensure compliance with retirement plan regulations.

Forecasting & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with finance and operations to forecast staffing and budget needs.
  • Use HR metrics and data analytics for strategic decision-making.

Industry-Specific HR Practices:

  • Apply HR knowledge specific to the manufacturing or food industry.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Employee Relations & Organizational Development:

  • Advise management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.

Bilingual (Spanish) Support:

  • Provide HR support to Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Translate and interpret HR materials and communications as needed.

HR Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics for senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll, benefits, and 401(k) management.
  • Knowledge of HR practices in the manufacturing or food industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required.
  • Experience in HR forecasting and collaboration with internal departments.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.

Desired Skills:

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
