FT Office Assistant - Plant Operations/Maintenance Department
$18.00 - $26.80 per hour
The Plant Operations Office Assistant will provide organizational, receptionist and clerical support to the department, and supports the manager to ensure an efficient, well-organized department.
- Communicates information accurately in a pleasant and efficient manner to a variety of people, including, but not limited to the maintenance department, administration, outside entities, and other departments as needed.
- Carries out all aspects of the job using good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Assists manager with maintaining regulatory agency requirements, as well as department policies and procedures.
- Assures supplies and equipment are readily available and properly stored.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school graduate or equivalent, with knowledge and experience in maintenance and/or construction office preferred.
- Must have strong clerical, administrative and organizational skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, staff and the general public.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and EXCEL spreadsheet programs required.
