KERN VALLEY HEALTHCARE DISTRICT Education Clerk in Lake Isabella, California
*TEMPORARY FT EDUCATION CLERK will process various Staff Development forms including in-services sign-in sheets, staff competencies, orientation packets, tracking competencies for compliance, etc. in the absence or assistance if the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator or Director of Staff Development (DSD) and will assist employees with educational issues or licensing questions.
Clerk will perform administrative and clerical related duties and assist the LMS Administrator and DSD, as applicable.
$18.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
- One-to-three-year clerical or administrative experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in education support function preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (365 - Preferred).
- Excellent computer knowledge and skills in working with spreadsheets, data entry, Internet/Intranet, etc.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in continuing education and continuous quality improvement activities.
Assist DSD with updating training materials via Microsoft Office - edit text documents and create templates. Running and creating functions, pivot tables, charts, reports, using spreadsheets and workbooks.
Making slideshows in PowerPoint. This position works closely with the LMS Administrator regarding the functionality for maintaining the continuing education (CE) documentation on courses requiring approval as an approved CE provider, through various continuing education boards.
