Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems (NGDS), Logistics and Fabrication Solutions Operating Unit, wants you to join our Team as a Principal Logistics Management Analyst and join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

You will be assigned as a Principal Logistics Management Analyst supporting multiple Department of Defense contracts in Lake Charles Louisiana.

Your duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Be responsible for Logistics and Supply Chain Analysis to support the maintenance & sustainment operations across multiple programs.

  • Maintaining inventory databases for material stocked in store rooms and warehouses.

  • Use Microsoft Office Suite of products, Adobe Acrobat and other programs required to generate DD1149, DD1348-1, and other applicable forms

  • Communicate with internal and external customers on material status, lead times, product availability and work to deconflict any material shortages that will impact scheduled maintenance

  • Prepare briefings for internal and external customers on the status of materials for each program

  • Create Material Requisitions using S4, FEDMAL or other accounting/procurement systems

  • Review and analyze technical data packages, identify materials needed to support maintenance operations and work with the appropriate agencies on approval to use and procure material

  • Issue materials as required to operations team in support maintenance activites for each program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 10 years of applied experience. Will consider a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance administrative experience as either a technician, or in a maintenance/production control facet; or, 4 years of experience with a master's degree.

  • Ability to get a DOT forklift certification

  • Maintenance or production planning experience.

  • Able to meet the physical demands of this position, including: regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

  • Willing/able to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends

  • Ability to obtain any clearance if determined to be required by the program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A current Secret or higher clearance.

Salary Range: $69,600 - $104,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
