Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager I for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center located in Lafayette, LA. Our Lady of Lourdes RMC is comprised of a main hospital with 200-beds, Women's and Children’s Hospital with 110 beds plus 50 NICU beds and a Heart Hospital with 30 beds located in Lafayette, LA . Lourdes is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, which is the largest locally owned, not-for-profit health system in Louisiana.

What You'll Do
Manage the clinical nutrition program within Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center
supervise a team of entry level and experienced dietitians
advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility
collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system
foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders that is integral to moving efforts of the department forward
drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
provide nutrition care to a variety of patient units as needed.

What You Bring
Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstratea great clinical knowledge base
have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development
demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
have experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
