As a Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your primary focus will be on applying Lean Six Sigma tools to spearhead Roper Corporation's continuous process improvement initiatives. You will mentor and guide your team in utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques to address material flow-related challenges, employing tools such as yamazumi diagrams, time observation, PDCA cycles, signaling systems, and escalation activities.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Process Improvement: Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.
Mentorship: Mentor and develop direct reports in Lean Six Sigma techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Inventory Management: Lead efforts to enhance and maintain accurate receiving processes and perpetual inventory records.
Logistics Management: Oversee receiving and outbound transportation activities, including load planning, to ensure efficient and timely operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations to ensure adequate storage space for all purchased parts and optimize storage solutions.
Plan for Every Part: Develop, maintain, and optimize a comprehensive "Plan for Every Part" strategy within a lean Just-In-Time (JIT) environment.
Sustainability: Maximize the use of returnable containers wherever feasible to promote sustainability and cost efficiency.
Supplier Relations: Cultivate strong supplier relationships to proactively reduce cycle times, respond effectively to electronic scheduling, and support container design activities.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields
5+ years of experience leading in a manufacturing environment & project implementation.
Proven experience in applying Lean Six Sigma principles to achieve operational improvements.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization to achieve results and maintain positive union relations.
High level of initiative, energy, and motivation to drive change and develop innovative solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
