PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $20.58-$25.19 hourly. The full Pay Range is $20.20-$29.76 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As a Concierge, you will be the first touch point for our members, proactively engaging with them to bring the BECU brand to life. By managing and directing branch traffic flow, and providing accurate, professional, and timely assistance, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing our members' service and product needs.

The schedule for this full-time Concierge position at the Hawks Prairie branch varies by week. Scheduled hours will fall between Monday-Friday from 8:30am-6:15pm. Rotational Saturday's after training will also be required from 8:45am-1:30pm.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Welcome and Assist Members: Greet our visiting members with prompt, efficient, and courteous service, ensuring that their inquiries are handled in a professional manner.

  • Manage Traffic Flow: Connect members to the appropriate staff and ensure smooth traffic flow within the branch.

  • Appointment Management: Book and track appointments for location staff, ensuring a seamless process for both members and branch personnel.

  • Lobby Maintenance: Maintain and organize the refresh/lobby area, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked and member areas are clean, functional, and well-organized.

  • Educate Members: Provide demonstrations and educate members on using BECU's full suite of remote services, ensuring that they can make the most of our offerings.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of all departments and BECU's primary deposit and lending products and services, assisting members with transactions and cross-selling where applicable.

  • Effective Communication: Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information for achieving Credit Union goals.

  • Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous improvement of processes and the quality of service, actively contributing to the attainment of Credit Union goals.

  • Additional Duties: Perform any additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall smooth running of the branch.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or associated Certification (GED) required.

  • Minimum two years of customer service experience in a retail environment.

  • Ability to work a shifting/flexible schedule; this requires Monday-Friday shifts 8:45am – 6:30pm and Saturdays from 8:45am – 1:30pm.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of sales experience in a financial retail environment preferred.

  • Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem-solving.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure member concerns are handled in a professional manner.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate.

  • Proficient PC skills, with the ability to learn new software.

  • Ability to analyze and identify member needs.

  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.

  • Additional hours as necessary to accomplishobjectives, goals, and projects.

  • Ability to sit or stand for periods of up to one hour or more.
