AON Senior Finance Analyst in Krakow, Poland

Senior RtR Financial Analyst will work with Local Controllership and CoE RtR team to ensure that all require tasks are recorded and reported on timely manner. You will work in dynamic environment, in area of accounting and account reconciliations performed on monthly basis. Accounting knowledge is required as well as experience in monthly accounting cycle. Candidate on this position would also have impact to control of third-party coworkers.

What the day will look like

  • Journal entry preparation,

  • Performing month-end closing activities;

  • Prepare Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation;

  • Analyse historical journal entries and results;

  • Cooperate with local country on regular basis;

  • Redesign and implement improvements to existing solutions;

  • Ensuring that transactions are carried out according to corporate policies and statutory regulations;

  • Follow-up guidance from Local Controller in accordance to area of responsibility;

  • Collaboration with auditors.

  • Control over month-end closing activities

  • Support coordination of month-end-close process by organizing daily follow-up’s during the close cycle

  • Prepare and share your feedback on monthly presentation and review with financial controller and other process participants

  • Cooperate with Compliance or Consolidation and Reporting teams

  • Performing monthly assessments of Balance Sheet reconciliations and journal entries posted in several locations to ensure the standardization and high quality of financial data

  • Mini AOR Accounting Operations Review

  • Maintain good relationships with onshore and offshore teams

  • Support your local country controllers and GP

  • Supporting migration of accounting processes from other countries

  • Building strong back-up plan and provide support for junior colleagues

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • High attention to details and ability to analyse data and check its accuracy;

  • Knowledge of Prepaid preparation would be an asset;

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities;

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, MS Excel);

  • Very good organizational skills;

  • B2/C1 English both written and verbal (participation in calls with Local country)

  • Second foreign language will be a pluse

  • Ability to recognize change impact across processes/teams and identify possible risks;

  • Ability to work under time pressure;

  • Experience with ERP solution, Workflow;

  • Strong motivation to work in a dynamic international team.
