The OTR Tire Technician is responsible for being able to professionally inspect, repair and maintain services to ensure the high standards of our guests are achieved. 

The hourly range for this role is minimum wage up to $30.00.    

This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.  Pay will be based on experience level.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Capable of operating a hand truck or mini-boom truck

• Fleet inspections.

• Scrap tire analysis.

• Assist other tire technicians in performing tire repair and general service.

• Insure that service truck, all tools and equipment are in good operating condition.

• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each work day

• Check all fluid levels in truck and air compressor during pre-trip inspection.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside & out).

• Perform jobs using proper and safe procedures at all times.

• Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies.

• Maintain standards of cleanliness.

• Maintain equipment in good working order. Notify manager immediately of defects

• Previous OTR experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent needed.

• Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Posses correct and valid driver’s license and class endorsement for weight of vehicle assigned.

• Must successfully pass alcohol & drug tests in compliance with Company Policy,

• Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Company's contractual requirements.

• Must submit to and pass background check as per Company policy and Company's contractual requirements.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
