Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in KITCHENER, Ontario
Job Description
As a Technical Product Manager, your responsibilities will include understanding customer and engineering needs, gathering requirements, managing feature backlogs, defining release plans, building roadmaps , and working and aligning with other Product Owners, Architects and teams to deliver these features.
This role requires in office (Hybrid) three days per week in our downtown Kitchener Office

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS / We encourage you to apply if you have most (or all!) of the following
At least 5 years of product owner/technical product management/product development/technical professional services experience.
A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes.
Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is preferred.
Deep understanding of software development industry standard frameworks (Scaled Agile, Lean, Design thinking, SAFe, OKRs, etc).
Great team player, comfortable working and collaborating with other Product Owners to achieve common goals.
Excellent prioritization skills. Ability to create a winning backlog and roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult tradeoff decisions.
Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently and make convincing arguments for the direction of the products.
Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions. A track record for building products with exceptional user experience.
Excellent communication. A track record of successfully working with a combination of local and remote development and QA team to deliver quality products.
Strong organizational skills: task prioritization, effective time management, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and risk identification and mitigation.
Comfortable with change; agent of change when the need is recognized.
Not constrained by role definition; contributes where ever needed to make NetSuite a success

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Have a deep understanding of the engineering needs, and have the ability to build products that meet those needs.
Deeply understand the needs of current and target customers/engineers through quantitative and qualitative customer research. Passionately represent the voice of the customer and engineering community to internal teams.
Drive adherence to processes and procedures to ensure the work a scrum team is delivering is aligned to our strategy and priorities.
Working with cross-functional teams and prioritize features and investments to get the maximum customer value.
Create, execute and communicate the scrum team backlog to achieve the goals and strategy for the assigned product area.
Own the scrum team's backlog and prioritize product enhancements, customer and internal requests by making smart, decisive trade-offs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
Proactively conceive, document and drive the creation of new features. Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements that clearly articulate desired product functionality.
Collaborate with Architects, Development, QA, Doc, UX and other Product Owners to deliver great products to our internal and external customers.
Manage features through their entire lifecycle including requirements definition, design, implementation, documentation and release.
Communicate proactively to encourage teamwork and cooperation between cross-functional teams and mediate conflicts when necessary.
Provide value by ensuring the health, happiness, efficiency, and effectiveness of the scrum team.

Canada: Hiring Range from $76,700 to $167,000 CAD per annum
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
