The successful candidate will have MECM experience in an enterprise environment and a thorough working knowledge of Windows, MacOS, IOS & Android devices. Daily activities will include physical device assembly/configuration, enrollment, profile building, package creation, software deployment, and centralized management.
The Systems Administrator will be part of a team focused on device management and operations support for our ships, private islands, and on-site offices and locations. The engineer will provide technical support for endpoints including, but not limited to PCs, MacOS, Android, iOS, Linux, printers, antennas, and much more. This role also includes travel to multiple locations throughout continental US to assist in supporting ship operations and project work. Experience centrally managing PCs and other devices in an enterprise environment is required. Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop, MacOS, IOS, and Android is strongly preferred.
This is a “hands-on” operations position. The role includes physical labor including packing/unpacking hardware, assembling and transporting/shipping to its destination, and managing repairs. Other logistics include purchasing, vendor management, and user administration. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work independently as a self-starter, utilize good time management skills, and function well within a diverse team.
Primary Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and manage shipboard endpoints such as PCs, mobile devices, printers, and other smart devices using central configuration systems (MECM & AirWatch)
• Create new user accounts and groups in Active Directory
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for applications and hardware on our ships and onshore sites
• Warehouse logistics including processing equipment repairs and shipping project hardware.
• Unpackage and assemble equipment at our warehouse and other site locations.
• Purchase hardware for projects or replacements
• Support project deployment work, which includes:
o Administration / Logistics
o Device Inventory and Asset Management
o Device enrollment using Apple Business Management, Google Zero Touch, Ground Control, and Samsung KME
o Physical device configuration. ie. Asset tagging, installing cases, installing accessories.
o Build and assign Mobile Configuration Profiles, to specific devices groups.
o Build and test macOS policies, to specific device groups.
o Write documentation to support project beyond initial deployment.
o Providing status updates of current projects
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage MECM & AirWatch environments.
o Upload, update, maintain, and delete iOS and Android Apps
o Manage users and ensure user data is accurate in the MDM.
o Updating documentation for new functions and features
o Troubleshooting issues reported by users at remote locations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.00/hr.
