We are looking for an experienced Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shipments through UPS and FedEx, utilizing SAP for inventory and shipping processes. For additional information you can reach me at zuli.cortes@randstadusa.com

salary: $25 - $27 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping carriers.

• Utilize SAP to manage inventory, generate shipping documents, and update order statuses.

• Negotiate shipping rates with carriers to obtain the best possible pricing for freight and parcel shipments.

• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation for domestic and international shipments, including customs paperwork.

• Track and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any shipping issues or delays.

• Maintain detailed records of shipping and receiving activities.

• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

• Handle returns, exchanges, and damage claims with carriers and vendors.

• Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding shipment statuses and delays.

• Perform additional warehouse duties, including packing, palletizing, and inventory management, as needed.

The essential functions of this role include:
