ROLE PURPOSE: To provide support to the Spare Parts Warehouse by performing various duties necessary to meet the departmental goals and performance objectives. Perform a variety of routine daily duties involved in material handling, packing, pulling, receiving, kitting, and some small assembly projects as assigned and shipping of Spare Parts and anything assigned by the warehouse manager. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Generate customer orders using the company ERP system; export data from ERP system into Microsoft Excel for reporting, pull the parts from the stocking inventory for shipping preparation. Based on the daily demand and the customer requirements; pack the required parts according to company standards, and prepare all applicable shipping paperwork. Upon completion move the completed packages to the shipping staging area. Process the system generated orders within the ERP system as well as the FedEx and UPS systems. Receive vendor supplied parts and customer returns into the Spare Parts Warehouse upon receipt. Enter the received parts and returns into the company ERP system in a timely and accurate manner to ensure inventory accuracy. Maintain and verify inventory levels per company established cycle counting processes. Prepare process or verify and distribute paperwork as required and maintain assigned records and files. Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision. Maintain supplies, storage, work areas, and equipment used in a clean and orderly condition. Observe all prescribed or standard safety rules and regulations. Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed. QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of previous shipping and receiving experience. General PC knowledge and ability to navigate. Ability to work from work orders, parts lists, shipping manifests, verbal and/or written instructions. Great attention to detail to accurately confirm shipping addresses. Demonstrated and successful experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
