We are currently looking for a Senior Project Utility Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Location: Karacabey, Bursa
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Senior Project Utility Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities;
• Directly reports to project engineering manager
• Ensures on time delivery of project work package deliverables of the industrialization projects, within
budget and scope at right quality
• Leading and monitoring progress during each stage of the project and prepare project progress reports
• Determining detailed project plan based on established project schedule. Monitor regularly with
machine contractors and report any deviations with action plan
• Lead project works URS (user requirement specification), close coordination with procurement at
competitive bidding, lead design, execution with suppliers. Manage tests, qualification and verification
process with machine suppliers in compliance with Nestle Standards
• Discussing requirements, deviations to approved project design with the stakeholders and report scope
changes
• Coordinate & monitor the works daily with contractors, project team
• Carry out site tours, inspections, to monitor compliance to agreed safe way of working, ensure work
permits, required checks
• Review risk assessments & method statements, risk predictions to ensure all are done to appropriate
standard, construction site meets Nestle guidelines, legal, health and safety requirements
• Lead sustainability and energy saving engineering studies
Which profile are we looking for?
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years project management experience. Preferably experience in FMCG, Oil & Gas or Chemical Industry
•Experience on steam, cooling, HVAC, heat pump, waste water treatment and air compressors.
• Personnel Supervision and construction site experience (of technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties)
• Participation in the design of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Participation in the start-up of technical equipment(s)
• Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
• Leadership at the site works, committed to ensure an attitude of absolute intolerance for non-compliance, in relation to people and environment safety
• Ability to read, interpret and review the various drawings (Piping and instrumentation diagram, General Arrangement drawing, Isometric and spooling)
required in the skid fabrication and assembly work
• Good communication skills in English
