We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the beautiful location of Kapolei, Hawaii. In this role, you will be entrusted with managing the accounting department, overseeing a diverse range of tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. You will also be expected to liaise with external auditors, update company policies and procedures for task efficiency, and assist in budget preparations. Please note that this role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates who have a strong knowledge of all aspects of financial and corporate accounting, exceptional analytical and organizational skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting department and manage a team of staff members

• Supervise tasks including certified payrolls, union staff payroll, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), among others

• Regularly review and sign weekly AP checks

• Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried employees

• Post monthly Journal Entries and handle monthly General Ledger and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and maintain fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory records

• Handle General Excise Tax (GET), quarterly and annual payroll taxes

• Coordinate with CPA for year-end closing and reconciliation

• Prepare for insurance and union audits

• Assist in budget preparations and conduct training for new hires within the department

• Serve as point of contact for external auditors

• Utilize proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Great Plains (GPAC), and other related software in performing tasks.

Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting field.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is necessary.

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is a plus.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is expected.

• Candidates must be experienced in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Prior experience in Auditing is required.

• Candidates should have experience with Billing Functions.
