Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Associate/Accountant in the KC Metro! This role will involve performing fund accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and leveraging public accounting experience. The Sr. Associate will be an integral part of our team, working closely with various departments to support our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely fund accounting tasks are completed

• Comply with all aspects of US GAAP in financial operations

• Apply public accounting experience in daily tasks

• Collaborate with different departments for financial matters

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

• Prepare and present financial reports to management

• Advise on financial decisions based on accounting knowledge

Requirements

• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred

• Proven experience in Fund Accounting preferred

• Proficient understanding and application of US GAAP

• Extensive experience in Public Accounting preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ethical conduct in line with financial and accounting standards

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
