A-State participates in E-Verify.\ \ Position Summary:\ \ Join our growing BA program in Psychology within the Department of Psychology and Counseling here at Arkansas State University. We are currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant Professor of Psychology to deliver high-quality instruction and engage students in our online BA in Psychology program. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about working with traditional and non-traditional college students and are adept at fostering a stimulating online learning environment.\ \ Duties & Responsibilities:\ \

  • Teach courses in psychology that may cover topics such as developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive processes, and mental health.
  • Conduct regular virtual office hours to provide guidance and support to students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and discussions.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and revision of the program\'s curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.
