Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in Jefferson, Louisiana. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in our financial operations. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy in financial documents

• Handle the processing of all invoices in the accounts payable system

• Ensure the accuracy of coding invoices, adhering to the company's financial procedures

• Oversee and execute check runs efficiently, ensuring all financial deadlines are met

• Maintain and update all data entries related to accounts payable

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report on financial data

• Handle invoice processing tasks, ensuring all invoices are paid on time and discrepancies are resolved promptly

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential

• Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Ability to efficiently conduct Check Runs

• Experience in Coding Invoices is a must

• Strong Data Entry skills are necessary

• Knowledgeable in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
