ROCK VALLEY COMMUNITY PROGRAMS INC State Case Manager in JANESVILLE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Full-Time Monday Friday 8am 4pm, w/ one late night required; \$18.50/hr Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc. (RVCP) operates a residential re-entry program serving adult male and female offenders transitioning from prison back into the community, offenders who are serving Alternatives to Revocation (ATR) or other probation / parole violations. The program is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a 115-bed Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Duties for a State Case Manager include but are not limited to: The State Case Manager reports directly to the Residential Services Director. The primary emphasis of this position is in case management. The primary duties are coordinating an overall plan to address the residents\' risk and responsivity needs by targeting their identified criminogenic needs and ensuring resident accountability. This is accomplished by meeting with residents, maintaining collateral contacts with contractors and community resources, providing documentation of resident activities, attending required meetings/trainings, and reporting. State Case Managers will facilitate group sessions with residents as scheduled. The State Case Manager will ensure the requirements of Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Residential Services Department Policies and Procedures are met. The State Case Manager must consistently present a solid profile of the organization to the contractors and the community. The State Case Manager will work side by side with residents to ensure all identified needs are addressed to ensure a successful transition to the community, from start to finish. Education and/or Experience: Degree and/or equivalent experience in Social Services, Humanities, or Counseling. Knowledge/Skills: Be knowledgeable and in daily compliance with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) contract and the Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) licensing requirements. Be knowledgeable of and in compliance with all Residential Services Department Policies and Procedures and program/client rules. Ability to acquire and apply a working knowledge of community support and health resources and the ways in which these resources may be used by persons in the Criminal Justice System. Ability to relate to people in an unprejudiced and understanding manner with concern for their circumstances and feelings. Ability to secure Federal and State clearance for work with residents and other required licensing standards. Requirements: Must have a valid Driver\'s License Successfully complete pre-employment state and federal background checks.
