ManpowerGroup Engineering Administrative Assistant in Jacksonville, Florida

Our client in the engineering industry is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Engineering Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various sub-departments within the division. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a technical background that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Administrative Assistant

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Act as a liaison between the engineering superintendent and the various engineering sub-departments including Technical, Project, Manufacturing, Program, Equipment, and Manpower Optimization.

  • Excels in face-to-face communication, and can gather information verbally to be compiled electronically.

  • Maintain a detailed schedule of all engineering projects in MS Project or similar scheduling software.

  • Compile and distribute regular status reports detailing the progress of ongoing engineering projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential risks.

  • Facilitate regular meetings and discussions to ensure alignment on project objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.

  • Provide administrative support to the Engineering Superintendent as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, documenting meeting minutes, and other administrative tasks.

  • Ability asks probing questions when receiving information to accurately provide meaningful status updates.

  • Complete daily / weekly reports using various EXCEL functions.

What's Needed?

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong computer skills, and proficient in Excel.

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English. (Mandarin is a plus but not required)

  • Fast typing skills are strongly preferred (60WPM+)

  • Working experience in industry is preferred but not required
