Description We are in the process of recruiting a SALT Manager for our team in Irving, Texas. As a SALT Manager, you'll be primarily involved in the design, development, and optimization of software tools for multi-state tax compliance and reporting. In addition, you will play a significant role in automating repetitive tax processes and developing systems to collect, analyze, and store tax data.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize software tools to facilitate multi-state tax compliance and reporting.

• Automate repetitive tax processes such as nexus determination, apportionment calculations, and tax return generation.

• Develop and maintain systems for tax data collection, storage, and analysis.

• Provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams through data analysis.

• Ensure the integrity and security of sensitive tax information via best practices in data management.

• Provide technical support to tax teams by troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, tax professionals, and external vendors, to guarantee that software meets business needs.

• Assist in maintaining accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with CaseWare

• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx

• Ability to use CCH Sales Tax

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision

• Skills in Auditing

• Compliance expertise

• Proficient in Entity Formation
