Job Description

An Insight Global customer is looking to bring on a WMS Account Manager to their growing team. This individual will provide IT account management and project management support to various large customers. Account management includes; but is not limited to, single point of contact for account to liaise with IT, financial reporting, forecasting, status reporting, change request administration, requirements gathering and definition, and managing a matrix environment so that the right group of people are engaged at the right time. In this capacity, candidate acts as the voice of the customer, provide 24 x 7 on-call support for severity 1 issues, per duty roster (generally 1 week every 2 months) with a root-cause/corrective action mindset. Respond to severity 1 escalations 24 x7 x 365, provide IT Project Management (scope, schedule, and budget management) for medium and large complex business startups, managing these projects across multiple IT teams. This role will require 40-50% travel for go lives, customer visits, walk throughs, etc.

Compensation Range:

$50/hr to $55/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years experience in Warehouse Management companies or projects as a BA, IT PM, or WMS Account Management role

- Strong WMS/Supply Chain/3PL experience at a BA, PM, or AM capacity

o Managing customer sites, wms projects within them, related to EDI and WMS integration

- Strong personality, driven mentality, ambitious, and polished; strong communication skills

- Strong documentation skills as it relates to business requirements, creating and managing spread sheets, and scope definition

- Ability to manage a budget through quotation, approval, and execution

- Working knowledge of project management methodology including the ability to build a project plan using Microsoft technologies, manage project objectives to ensure on-time delivery, and negotiate resource allocation and priorities

- Candidate must possess strong client facing skills, need to know what questions to ask to reach the end goal

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or another related field Manhattan Scale experience (strong plus)
