Description

We are seeking a diligent Administrative Assistant to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, handling a variety of responsibilities including processing documents, managing paper files, and responding to customer inquiries. This role is part of the court system, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. This position is in office and is a part time role, 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle inbound and outbound calls, providing customer service as needed.

• Engage in data entry tasks, inputting documents into the case management system.

• Manage mail operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Maintain and organize file folders, ensuring all documents are accurately labeled and filed.

• Review weekly reports to determine compliance with Court Orders and case progress.

• Handle transcript requests for civil cases that are ready to be fully briefed.

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing information and guidance as needed.

• Use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to maintain records and generate reports.

• Schedule appointments and manage correspondence as required.

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, with a focus on maintaining detail orientation and providing top-notch customer service.

• Ability to handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and readily accessible.

• Excellent skills in email correspondence, with an emphasis on clear and concise communication.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform complex calculations, create spreadsheets, and manage data effectively.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, including managing emails, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create, edit, and present detail-oriented presentations.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents effectively.
