Compensation Range: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour ( e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
Hours Worked : Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.
However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Biologist I (Analyst I) is responsible for growing and maintaining cell lines. The candidate will also assist in cell experimentation, single cell projects and other projects using cells as controls for experiments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform work with strong aseptic technique
Grow and maintain cell lines for further experimentation
Preparation of mammalian cells for cryopreservation
Record data in notebook,
Present in laboratory/project meetings
Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
Comply with clients and Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
Follows the guidelines set forth in by clients and the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan.
Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.
Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
Minimum one (1) year experience in general biology laboratory techniques
Familiarity with laboratory technology and instrumentation including centrifuges, and cell counters
